Synopsis:
A female cyborg cop and her partner hunt a mysterious and powerful hacker called the Puppet Master. Originally a computer program created by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Puppet Master escapes into the electronic universe. It is up to a shell team from Section 9, led by Major Motoko Kusanagi, to try to stop the cyber-hacker from reaching its goal of total sentience.
